Anne Hathaway - White Pandering Is Corrosive

     Anne Hathaway is a privileged white woman that more than likely knows nothing about the millions of white Americans that never have known or experienced an ounce of the privilege that she has. A young black woman was horrifically stabbed to death by a deranged white man. She uses this murder to advance her narrative. Basically, whites are privileged, insensitive and abusive, and blacks are helpless victims- blacks fear whites, whites do not fear blacks.

     Plenty of whites fear blacks, including many that went to integrated schools where they were nothing more than punching bags for black youths. There are blacks born with silvers spoons in their mouths. There are also many whites and blacks that never caught a break in their lives. Many whites and blacks are mean, cruel, abusive, insensitive, or the opposite. Color does not define who people are.

       For the thousands of innocent black and white youth murdered by blacks, there will be no Anne Hathaway to cry over their shortened lives. Black on black crime, black on white crime mean nothing to people that can only empathize with tragedy if it suits their political or religious agendas. 

       White pandering is corrosive. It infantilizes people. It keeps people dumbed and down, and ensures they never assume responsibility for their lives. It enables black racists to continue their downward spiral agenda. It assists hate in growing. It victimizes white and blacks and everyone else. The white panderers are often too self righteous to ever see their harm. 

        A grown white man related the story of how he was beaten up by black kids while growing up. His parents never had his back because they believe blacks are incapable of doing anything wrong and that blacks cannot be anything more than victims. When people start caring about all victims of violence, not just the ones that suit their fancy, there will be progress.

        

Sondos Al Qattan And The Plight Of Filipina Workers In Kuwait

     For beauty to be something more than skin deep, there has to be an awareness and concern for the people in one's own backyard. This woman tries to deflect her callousness onto events in other lands and places, and to blame her critics for a racism she most surely possesses. She calls the criticism of her an attack on Islam, on the hijab, on Kuwait and on the oil rich gulf states.
     A kinder woman with true inner beauty would simply have apologized, and would do everything she can- with her wealth, power and influence- to improve the plight of vulnerable Filipina women working and living in her country. Instead, Sondos declared, "What do human rights have to do with the (worker) keeping her passport? Even our kids do not hold on to their passports." Sondos also defended her belief that foreign workers do not have the right to days off. Poor working conditions for many and a long history of documented abuse in Kuwait and other oil rich gulf nations are ignored.
       Foreign workers are not slaves. They are not children. They are human beings that deserve to be treated with respect, decency, and to be paid a fair wage.
       There are many instances of rape, murder and torture of foreign workers in oil rich gulf states. One Filipina worker in Kuwait was found dismembered in the apartment freezer where she was employed.
        The good thing that can come from the ugliness of externally beautiful Sondos is for the exploitation, mistreatment and abuse of Filipina foreign workers, and all foreign workers, to end. It must become the international norm that no foreign worker lose access to their passport and the ability to return home at their choosing. It must be the international norm that foreign workers are not left alone and vulnerable, and that mechanisms are in place so that a foreign worker can escape a situation of abuse, not be trapped in it. Abusers, and those that defend abuse, shame their country and religion when they use religion and nation as an excuse to defend the inexcusable. She is an embarrassment to those Kuwaitis and others in the gulf region that do treat their foreign workers with respect and decency.

     

Putin, Trump, Nuclear Weapons

     Trump said nuclear weapon proliferation is the greatest threat to human survival. Putin acknowledged the importance of environmental issues. Will these leaders act upon their words?  What does it matter if an ingratiating Trump serves Putin biscuits while wearing an apron if these two leaders dramatically reduce nuclear weapons and their proliferation? Unfortunately, no one holds them accountable to do anything about these issues. Too many leaders take and take and give little to nothing in return. How about a 30 per cent reduction in nuclear weapons to be achieved within the most rapid timetable possible? Otherwise, let them take their billions and get off the world stage.

Bad Leaders And Organizations Prevail

     As long as too many people surrender their free will to whoever provides easy answers, as long as too many allow themselves to be easily manipulated, as long as too many fall for empty words and easy promises, people will be left with undeserving organizations and leaders.

Animal Cruelty, Control And Euthanasia In Chicago. A Nationwide Story

     The director of the City of Chicago Animal Care and Control facility was fired. Arguments made on her behalf included the fact that euthanasia rates at the city animal shelter were lowered. If animal control is properly addressed in a large city like Chicago, with a significant low income population in need of many services, then euthanasia rates would skyrocket, not go down. By downplaying animal control, all that happens is that animals are left to die on the streets, out of sight, out of mind.
      The telling question that many animal organizations and animal advocates do not want to look at - more than likely because they do not want to rain on their feel good parade and all the easy money that comes from pretending to care about animals - are the responses to animal control and animal cruelty calls timely and appropriate? Nationwide, calls made to 911 and 311 (or another non emergency number) regarding animal cruelty and animal control are enormous. Animal advocates and animal organization have failed, if they even tried, to hold police accountable in regards to their response to animal related calls of a criminal nature. There is a complete failure and unwillingness to advocate for an appropriate police response to animal cruelty and dog fighting.
       There is also an unwillingness to examine and hold accountable how well cities like Chicago respond to animal control related calls (including calls regarding injured animals, stray animals, and dangerous animals), to ensure the response is timely and appropriate.
        As long as nationwide the response to animal cruelty continues to be minimal (which includes the use of ineffective token police forces, or the toothless and often harmful animal cruelty investigations conducted by a number of animal organizations), dog fighting and animal cruelty will continue to be some of the least enforced crimes.
         Regarding animal control, if animal advocates and animal organizations care about animals, they would concern themselves with how cities respond to animals control. Domestic animals in harm's way suffer enormously, and also put in harm's way people and wildlife.
         The less there is animal control, the less enforcement of animal cruelty laws, the fewer animals there are that might have to be euthanized. Low euthanasia numbers in and of themselves are nothing to be proud of.

Jew, Israel As The Crutch: Iranian General Blames Israel For Stealing Clouds

     An Iranian general accused Israel of stealing clouds and altering the weather over Iran. This is only the latest in a long line of accusations against the Jew and the one small Jewish majority country in the world, Israel. Instead of facing up to life with all of its problems and calamities like men and women of strength, courage and compassion, it is easier for many to succumb to hatred and reliance on a crutch. All too often the chosen crutch or scapegoat is the Jew. This pathological hate, this demented weakness, keeps the world stuck in darkness. Serious problems do not get resolved when focus is centered on the object of hate. Ecological problems, many of which are bordering on catastrophic, continue to be ignored. Elements in the Islamic world have been killing, stealing, raping and murdering (which many blame on the Jew). The Jew is the excuse for many Muslims and others to never face themselves. Having the Jew as scapegoat ensures environmental degradation, greed, war and chaos advances while mankind does not.
