BDS And The Pursuit Of Jihad And Death

     BDS wants there to be no Israel. So does Hamas, Iran, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and many others. BDS aims to economical weaken and destroy Israel. Its claim to be nonviolent rings hollow. BDS knows that the many enemies of Israel are salivating at the chance to destroy Israel through violence and terror. It knows that weakening Israel's economy makes Israel vulnerable to the jihadist ambitions of its violent enemies. A true nonviolent movement pursues nonviolence across the board. A true nonviolent movement disavows, condemns, boycotts, sanctions and divests from all parties that use violence and terror.
       What is the true face of the effort to destroy Israel? It is about ethnically cleansing Israel of its Jewish population and the killing and maiming of millions, Jew and Arab alike. Why anyone would want this speaks volumes about the nature of far too many people.
   
     

A Simple, Idealistic Peace Plan: Israel/Palestine

      One generation needs to grow up learning everything that is the opposite of hate. For the period of time needed to achieve this; not less then ten years, there will be a peace treaty and truce between all warring sides. During the time of the treaty, everything that is the opposite of hate, demonizing, incitement and violence will be pursued. Children from the families of even the most militant people will visit and spend time with children from the opposite side. For at least ten years, children from all sides will be raised to be friends.
       Children will be taught there is no place in this world for hatred, supremacy, demonizing, incitement and ethnic cleansing. Children will mix in summer camps, after school programs and elsewhere. Children from Jewish communities will visit children from Arab communities, and vice a versa. Every possible bridge will be built between the children from different ethnicity and backgrounds.
        Both sides will commit to a peaceful negotiated settlement to be made during the last years of the peace treaty. To be determined by Palestinian Arabs and Israelis: two states or a one state solution. If it is a two state solution, this means exactly what it states. Two states does not mean flooding Israel with millions of Palestinian Arabs demanding the right of return. Israeli Jews, most of whom originated from the middle east and North Africa, have only Israel and nowhere else to go. A two state solution does not mean destroying Israel. If it is a one state solution, mutually agreed to by all sides without coercion or violence, then it mean the permanent end of the use of violence and terror to resolve grievances and disagreements. It cannot be the phony acceptance of one person, one vote and democracy while pursuing an Islamic state in which Jews are delegated to second class, inferior status institutionalized under Sharia law.
        When violence, supremacy, hate, demonizing and ethnic cleansing are taken out of the picture, all things become possible.

The War To Kill The South China Sea

     As nationalism and territorial claims gets played out in the South China Sea by China, the sea, wildlife and people are the loser. The more China dredges, develops and destroys the islands, cays, atolls and coral reefs of the sea, the more China harms itself. People cannot eat Chinese military bases, airstrips and other man-made structures on destroyed coral reefs, cays, atolls and islands.

      It is in the interest of every nation that relies upon the South China Sea not to walk away from this destruction. This does not mean going to war against China, a war that would certainly be lost. There are ways to fight battles without resorting to violence. China has close ties with the Philippines, including economic and diplomatic ties. So does the United States. There are ways to exert pressure without resorting to violence. China has extensive economic interests in the Philippines. It should not be business as usual as long as China is killing the South China Sea.

        In the years to come, as the oceans become more depleted of fish and other marine life, as the oceans became more polluted and contaminated from plastic and more, as coral reefs and sea grasses continue to decline, what is it people expect to eat? A healthy South China Sea has far more value than the depleted sea that China is creating. Millions of people rely upon the sea. Their future is being thrown away in exchange for a militarized sea that benefits not even China. China must be held accountable. The Philippines must not walk away. The future of millions of people, including millions of Filipinos and Chinese, is at stake.

      

Destroying Israel: The Death And Maiming Of Millions

      There is a propaganda war between pro Israel and anti Israel supporters. The more Jews and Israel are demonized, the easier it is for genocide to occur. This is not paranoid thinking. Hamas, Iran, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, and a number of religious leaders and others the world over call daily for the destruction of Israel and for the murder of Jews. The more Jews and Israelis are made to appear satanic, the easier it is to mobilize masses of people around this hatred. Demagogues routinely use the Jew to gain support and mobilize followers. Hate is a booming business.
      The more demonic Israel and Jews are made to appear, the harder it is to ever resolve the conflict.
       Even if someone hates Israel, do they have enough sense to realize that destroying Israel means  the death and maiming of millions, Jew and Arab alike? No decent human being should want that.
        Let them - the Jews of Israel- go back to Europe, some proclaim, and then they can avoid the genocide that is coming. Most Israelis are the descendents of Jews from the middle east and North Africa and have no connection to Europe. Most Israelis are born on the soil of Israel. They have no place to go, and Europe is not their home.
         Ethnic cleansing and the pursuit of genocide should have no place in this world. But it does. Decent people, no matter if they love or hate Israel, no matter their religion or politics, should resist any and all calls for ethnic cleansing and genocide, regardless of their source.
     
       
       
         
       
       
         
       

Islamist In Liberal San Francisco Makes Case For Israel

     In liberal San Francisco's largest downtown mosque, an Islamist scholar preached the same tired message heard over and over every day across the Islamic world, making the case once again for why there needs to be an Israel. Morsi's, the so called scholar asserted, was killed by satanic Zionists. He went on to blame satanic Zionists for the evils of the world, and for the failures that exist in the Islamic world. Blaming the Jew and/or Zionist for the world's ills never ceases to inspire crowds of bigots.

      Israel is a country that exists. The never ending effort to destroy it and ethnically cleanse its Jewish population has ensured generations of suffering and bloodshed for Arab and Jew alike. 

      To this so called scholar: bigotry is evil. The satan he is looking for, and wants to destroy, is found in his own bigotry and hate. 

       Too often many liberals and progressives need victims to fawn upon. Muslims are one of their favorite victims, even though Muslim is not a race or ethnic group. In their typical weak kneed fashion, many ingratiating liberals and progressives will not stand up against bigotry if the bigotry comes from those they deem victims.

         Meanwhile, an establishment Islamist scholar preaching hate in the middle of liberal San Francisco is a teaching moment for why there needs to be an Israel.
