In light of where hate, incitement and demonizing leads, with countless horrific examples, including the holocaust, the inquisition, Hamas and company October 7 massacres in Israel, the genocide against the Yazidis, the massacres of the Jews of the middle east and North Africa, the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda, the genocide in Darfur, Sudan, the slaughter of religious minorities throughout the middle east, the slaughter of Christians in North Nigeria, the persecution of religious minorities in many places of the world, the killing of Druze in Syria, and much more, it is wise to be prudent and righteous, and not use the name of Jesus, the bible or any other religious text as an excuse to violate the most basic of laws given unto humankind. A law that Jesus did not revoke for Christians or for anyone else. A commandment that stands to this day.
Do not bear false witness.
Do not defame.
Do not distort or take out of context religious passages to justify defamation.
Do not defame period. Do not incite hatred. Do not demonize.
This person makes a number of inflammatory assertions regarding Christian Zionists and Orthodox Jews.
There are many forms of orthodox Judaism. Many orthodox Jews, contrary to this person's assertion that they are bloodthirsty and violent, are instead people of the book where many spend their lives studying and praying, and where many refuse to serve in the military. Other than a tiny fringe of orthodox Jews, most orthodox Jews, contrary to this person's assertions, do support the right of Israel to exist.
The name calling this person resorts to against Christian Zionists is beyond disgraceful. Bullies try to intimidate and diminish other people, including through name calling.
There are many Christians living in the land of Israel. This person's assertions about how they are treated can easily be fact checked and proven untrue. No country is perfect in this world, but Israel is a nation with religious freedom. Are there examples of Jews behaving badly? Of course. But that exists for all peoples of the world. If someone is looking for excuses to keep the hatred going, then keep on demonizing. No amount of hiding behind religion, a religious book, or anything else, negates the basic commandment to not defame.
The assertions about what Israelis believe that are not the orthodox he defames with gross generalizations and views that reflect his hate and bias and not reality, show a deep lack of understanding about the people of Israel. it is easier to pigeonhole a people that someone dislikes than embrace complexity. Most Israelis are not orthodox Jews, but that does not mean they do not have faith and belief. It is shameful how many people in the world continue to demonize those that believe differently from what they believe. People must learn to be sufficiently confident in their own beliefs and not be offended, which often manifests into violence, because someone else does not share their beliefs. Live and let live continues to elude persecuted religious and ethnic minorities of the world by majority populations.
The world knows only too well by now where hate, demonizing, bullying, and incitement leads.
