Minimally Taxing The Rich So The U.S. Can Become A Third World Country

Note to the United States: It is not possible to remain the world's leading superpower and continue to think it can be done on the cheap and by printing money. The United States needs to stop pandering to its wealthy citizens, who already receive the best of everything society has to offer, and raise their taxes. Certain conservative pundits like to be melodramatic, insisting raising taxes on the rich is class warfare. But not having an equitable tax structure is already class warfare.
The rich in many third world countries, just like in the United States, have almost all of the wealth. They pay minimal taxes, just like in the United States, which some still complain about, neglecting to mention that they own, and receive, almost all of the country's wealth and benefits.
People work all kinds of jobs where the risk is great and the pay is low. People risk health, safety and limb, while the rich complain about their money being taxed. Societies do not succeed in the long run that fail their workers and reward only their wealthy.
Democracies survive by having strong middle classes, not by catering to a wealthy few. The failure to tax the wealthy leads to failures in the third world, as it will in the states.
